Our firm together with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP has assisted Advent International L.P., a US based private equity firm, with its sale of the Aareon-group. Advent International L.P. has reached an agreement with TPG, a leading global alternative asset manager, on the proposed sale of the Aareon-group, a European provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the property industry.
The transaction will establish Aareon as an independent company majority owned by TPG and CDPQ as minority co-investor. Closing is expected to take place in the second half of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
