Blackstone to acquire majority stake in VFS Global

Funds managed by Blackstone have signed definitive agreements with EQT and the Kuoni and Hugentobler-Foundation to acquire a majority stake in visa outsourcing service provider VFS Global. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.

On October 7, 2021, Blackstone, EQT and the Kuoni and Hugentobler-Foundation (the "Foundation") announced that funds managed by Blackstone have signed definitive agreements with EQT and the Foundation to acquire a majority stake in VFS Global. The Foundation, as minority shareholder, will remain invested as co-investor in VFS Global following closing of the transaction. VFS Global is the global market leader in visa outsourcing services. Closing is expected to occur in Q1 2022.
