Congratulations to AMPYR Solar Europe with the conclusion of 50 GWh, 10-year corporate PPA

Our client AMPYR Solar Europe has concluded a 10-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with ROCKWOOL pursuant to which ROCKWOOL will buy more than 50 GWh of renewable electricity annually from AMPYR Solar Europe's 96 MWp solar farm in Noordoostpolder, Flevoland.

Corporate power purchase agreements are mutually beneficial to both corporate offtakers as well as developers. For corporate offtakers, they provide commercial certainty in the electrification of business operations and may serve as a hedge against market volatility. For developers and independent power producers such as AMPYR Solar Europe, they provide offtake certainty that enable the continued development and roll-out of renewable energy projects.
