In this capacity, Fokke Jan will teach real estate law to future notaries. Two days a week, he will continue his work at Loyens & Loeff. This way, Fokke Jan wants to promote the connection between education, research and daily practice:
“Studying notarial law is a valuable foundation for an important contribution to society. The VU Amsterdam offers that study at a high level. Located in the heart of the specialised Zuidas and only a stone's throw from various full-service offices, the VU Amsterdam lends itself perfectly to the exchange of knowledge on both traditional and the most current notarial issues. My goal is to reflect the diversity of practicing law in my teaching. I can’t wait to start at the VU Amsterdam and to combine this with my work in the high-quality Real Estate practice of Loyens & Loeff.”
