AMCE is a leading European middle market private equity operator based in London with a global presence and Carton Pack is a leader in the development, production and marketing of packaging multi-material for the food sector, with particular specialisation in the fruit and vegetables sector.
Over the years Carton Pack has developed an important international presence (approximately 30% of sales are generated abroad) and it has expanded its product portfolio towards innovative and sustainable materials.
The company has about 400 employees with 3 production sites and 15 distribution centres between Italy and Spain, serving over 1,300 customers in 40 international markets.
AMCE acquired a majority stake of the company, and it will be supported by the current owners, by maintaining their respective managerial roles.
Loyens assisted AMCE with the implementation of the acquisition and funding structure, the financing of the acquisition as well as the roll over of key management in the new structure. The partnership with AMCE will allow Carton Pack to consolidate its leadership in the European market, expanding its product portfolio, international presence and reference markets.
