Loyens & Loeff advised in relation to the acquisition and financing of the French football club LOSC Lille

LOSC Lille is one of the most successful French football clubs and is currently one of the leading clubs in the French League 1.

The transaction completed on 18 December 2020 and it involved the acquisition of the Luxembourg holding company of LOSC Lille by Merlyn Partners SCSp and the subsequent financing of the football club.

The Loyens & Loeff team included Vassiliyan Zanev, Frédéric Franckx, Peter Adriaansen, Natalja Taillefer, Tina Fettes, Ana Andreiana, Sarah Ambulante, Sarah Stella, Nelli Kluschin and Jérôme Dubois.
