Photon Capital B.V. has reached an agreement with pension investor PGGM, on the proposed sale of a 49% stake in Penta Infra, a Netherlands-based developer and operator of data centres.

Our private equity team, combining corporate, investment management and tax expertise, advised Photon Capital B.V. on all the aspects of the transaction and said agreement, securing PGGM as a new shareholder and investor for Penta Infra. Photon Capital B.V. has been involved with Penta Infra since its inception and will remain involved as a 51% shareholder.

Penta Infra, a Netherlands-based developer and operator of data centres across Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark, offers a complete range of flexible, sustainable, carrier-neutral and compliant colocation services. This three parties’ partnership aims at accelerating the companies’ footprint in a rapidly data driven growing market that is the European digital infrastructure sector.

The closing is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
