Our involvement included preparing the offering circular, reviewing and negotiating the programme agreement and the agency agreement, and issuing a legal capacity opinion with respect to Région wallonne. The Euro Medium Term Note Programme allows Région wallonne to issue notes on a continuous basis and on identical or differing terms, thus providing a flexible and diverse financing scheme. The proceeds of the notes are intended to finance Région wallonne’s broader activities, but may specifically be allocated towards the Région’s transition to a low carbon, environmentally friendly and socially responsible economy.
