Women working in the commercial legal industry across Continental Europe have continued to grow and climb up the ranks this past year as law firms follow trends to elevate more women into partnership and management roles.

Law.com International researched and called for submissions from top law firms about exceptional up-and-coming female lawyers practicing in Continental Europe and Ireland.

Law firms selected their best individuals, who were then compared to determine who should make the final list. More than 100 submissions from across more than 40 firms and 16 countries have been whittled down to find the 25 women aged under 40 who represent the best and brightest practicing in Europe, excluding the U.K. All candidates were judged against the following criteria: the quality of their client base; examples of driving forward the size or reputation of their practice area; the scale, significance, and complexity of their cases; their client feedback and general market reputation; the standing of their mentor; and any other examples of career success and innovation.

This achievement and the celebration of female leaders underlines the importance we place on diversity and inclusion at our firm.
