Anne-Marie Nicolas, partner, heads our Luxembourg Banking & Finance practice and co-heads our Luxembourg Restructuring practice. Anne-Marie focuses on domestic and international private equity matters and secured lending, including acquisition finance, real estate as well as distressed financings, security enforcements and debt restructurings.
Anne-Marie focuses on cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged, corporate and real estate financings and advises in particular on the documenting and structuring of debt finance transactions generally. She also specialises in distressed financings, security enforcement and debt restructurings.
She also has longstanding (including in-house) experience in crisis management and corporate governance matters
Anne-Marie regularly acts for private equity sponsors and debt funds, other debt providers across the board on all levels of the debt capital structure as well as for multinationals.
Anne-Marie is an active member of various associations in the financial services industry and regularly publishes on pre-insolvency, (distressed) finance and corporate governance matters. She is also a panel speaker and an external trainer on debt restructuring and corporate governance matters.
Anne-Marie is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Financial Institutions team, the Fintech team, the Region team Germany and the Region team France.
Before joining our office, Anne-Marie gained extensive experience at a magic circle firm in Luxembourg and headed the EMEA and India corporate and legal practice of an S&P 500 industrial group.
Anne-Marie is currently a member of the international board of directors of Loyens & Loeff.
