Kim de Bruijn, attorney at law, specialises in restructuring and insolvency matters. She works in our Amsterdam office. She focuses on insolvency law, including financial and corporate restructurings and litigation matters.
Kim advises and represents Dutch and international clients in high profile restructurings. Her areas of expertise include insolvency law, restructuring litigation and financial and corporate restructurings. As an insolvency law expert, she is a member of the Healthcare team. Prior to joining the Litigation & Risk Management practice group, Kim worked in Loyens & Loeff’s Banking & Finance practice group, advising on cross-border finance transactions.
Recent matters that Kim has worked on include representing:
- an ad hoc group of creditors in summary proceedings before the Netherlands Commercial Court in a dispute about the
transfer of (pledged) shares in the Frigoglass Group
- a security agent in one of the largest Dutch Scheme proceedings (WHOA) so far
- a secured lender in another large Dutch Scheme proceeding (WHOA)
- the management board of a large Dutch entity (with international subsidiaries) in the preparation to its bankruptcy
- the Dutch headquartered syncreon Group in its debt restructuring
