Timo has been working in the project development and construction sector since 1999. He specialises in turnkey and integrated contracting and construction law, based on DNR 2011, UAV 2012, UAV-GC 2005 and FIDIC. He has expertise in the field of sustainable building (certificates) and modular building.
Timo advises on development of large-scale residential and non-residential building, as well as mixed-use projects. In these projects, Timo acts primarily for developers and investors. He co-chairs the Project Development & Construction Team and is a member of the ESG focus group and the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector team.
In addition, he is a guest lecturer at the Academy of Law Practice, and a member of the Association of Construction Law-Lawyers and the Dutch Association for Tendering Law.
Furthermore, Timo is co-author and editor of the book ‘Project development & construction in the Netherlands’. This Loyens & Loeff publication offers a handy overview of the most important legal and tax aspects of and for the Dutch building and project development practice. It is the result of a joint effort, made by various Loyens & Loeff attorneys at law, tax advisers and civil law notaries in different disciplines; they pooled together their expertise and experience to create this book.
