Coen, attorney at law, is a member of the Financial Markets & Products practice group in our Amsterdam office. He focuses on financial regulatory matters. He also is a member of the firm-wide ESG focus group and the financial litigation focus group.

Coen specialises in the laws and regulations regarding the supervision of financial undertakings and financial markets. Coen advises both national and international clients amongst others on the Dutch Act on Financial Supervision, MiFID II, PSDII, AIFMD, UBO legislation and anti-money laundering legislation. Additionally, Coen has experience in advising clients on debt capital market transactions.
Before joining the Financial Markets & Products practice group, Coen worked in Loyens & Loeff's Litigation & Risk management practice group. In this capacity, Coen represented national and international clients in legal proceedings relating to commercial and corporate law disputes including, among others, issues revolving around commercial contracts, corporate law, liability matters and class actions.
