Frank John is an expert in corporate law, focusing on (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions. He further has expertise in advising clients on equity based management incentive plans. Frank John advises both corporate clients as well as Dutch / international private equity firms on their M&A-transactions.

Frank John has been involved in numerous high-profile national and international M&A-transactions across various sectors. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in M&A-transactions involving franchisees and franchisors and has a strong track-record in that area, which includes, amongst others, the advisory of the family Linders on their landmark transformation from the independent supermarket branch Jan Linders towards becoming the largest franchisee of Albert Heijn.

From 1 June 2021, Frank John was seconded to the Luxembourg office of EQT Group, a global private equity firm, for seven months, where he assisted EQT with the day-to-day activities in respect of EQT's Luxembourg fund entities.

During 2023 and 2024, Frank John served on the Young Board of Loyens & Loeff, which facilitates dialogue and collaboration between the younger generation and Loyens & Loeff leadership.
