Gaby Lalchand focuses on (cross-border) finance transactions. Gaby regularly advises financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and high-profile corporate borrowers on the structuring and documentation of complex financing arrangements, including leveraged finance transactions and other corporate lending matters.

Gaby is currently seconded to our New York office, where she primarily assists US-based clients with finance transactions involving a Dutch or broader European dimension. Her work often includes advising on multi-jurisdictional financing structures and navigating cross-border legal aspects.

Before joining the Banking and Finance Experise Group, Gaby gained experience in European and Dutch Competition law. During her time with the Competition Expertise Group, she adviced clients on the application of competition laws, such as the prohibition of cartels, the abuse of dominance, state aid and merger control. Her further areas of expertise include corporate investigations, foreign direct investment (FDI) screening.
