Joyce Kerkvliet is a member of the Investment Management department in our Amsterdam office and is a member of the Fund Regulatory Team.
Joyce Kerkvliet is a counsel in our Investment Management department and is specialized in financial supervision on the investment management sector. Joyce has extensive experience in advising various types of asset managers on AIFMD, EuVECA, MiFID2 and other types of regulations applicable to market parties in the investment management sector, such as SFDR and Taxonomy Regulation, IFD/IFR, the PRIIPS Regulation, Benchmark Regulation and AML/KYC regulations.
Amongst others, Joyce assists in license applications, various types of notifications and correspondence with the Dutch supervisory authorities (both AFM and DCB). Joyce previously worked at the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM), which experience proves particularly helpful in these matters.
Joyce is actively involved in representative organizations in the investment management industry, such as the Dutch private equity and venture capital association (Nederlandse vereniging van participatiemaatschappijen) and the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association (DUFAS).
