Julia Mierzwinska, attorney at law, is a member of the Banking & Finance expertise group in our Brussels office. She focuses on regulatory matters, supervision of the financial markets and finance transactions.

Julia specialises in the laws and regulations regarding the supervision of financial undertakings and financial markets. In that context, she frequently advises various financial undertakings including credit, payment and e-money institutions, investment firms, fund managers, crowdfunding platforms, crypto-asset services providers and other financial institutions but also non-regulated entities on general aspects of financial and banking regulation. Her expertise include assisting in legal and administrative proceedings, advising on ongoing compliance matters, drafting and assisting in M&A transactions and license applications involving financial undertakings and financial markets. In addition, she assists financial institutions and companies in a wide range of domestic and international financial transactions.
Julia also works as a teaching assistant in company law at the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve.
She joined Loyens & Loeff in 2022.
