Marco de Vries, attorney-at-law, is a member of the Competition Team of the Expertise group Corporate / M&A in our Amsterdam office. He focuses on competition, antitrust, FDI, private equity and regulatory matters. He advises on the full range of competition issues, focusing on merger clearance, cartel investigations, horizontal cooperations and vertical agreements as well as foreign direct investments (FDI) and foreign subsidies (FSR).
Marco specialises in EU law (regulated markets), competition law (merger control, antitrust and state aid) and corporate investigations. He advises on a variety of areas, such as the cartel prohibition, the prohibition on abuse of dominance, the prohibition on state aid and merger control.
Previously, Marco was part of the Corporate M&A practice group, where he gained experience in private equity transactions, management buyouts, (inter)national acquisitions and joint ventures.
Marco is admitted to the Amsterdam bar.
