Marco de Vries, attorney-at-law, is a member of the Competition Team of the Expertise group Corporate / M&A in our Amsterdam office. He is an expert in European law, competition law (cartel prohibition, merger control, abuse of dominance, and state aid law) and FDI.

Marco focuses on competition, antitrust, FDI, private equity and regulatory matters. He advises on the full range of competition issues, focusing on merger clearance, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance investigations, horizontal cooperations and vertical agreements as well as foreign direct investments (FDI) and foreign subsidies (FSR).
Previously, Marco was part of the Corporate M&A practice group, where he gained experience in private equity transactions, management buyouts, (inter)national acquisitions and joint ventures.
Marco is admitted to the Amsterdam bar.
