Senior Associate - Attorney at Law
Maria Kulmukhametova, senior associate, is a member of the Banking & Finance Practice Group in our Luxembourg office and a member of the Restructuring Team. She focuses on cross-border finance transactions (acquisition finance, real-estate finance, refinancings, fund finance) and restructurings.
Maria has substantial lead counsel experience in advising banks and borrowers on various types of financing transactions, in particular: secured lending, real-estate finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance and due diligence, including working on cross-border transactions as lead counsel. Maria frequently advises clients on different restructuring aspects, including working on debt restructuring transactions, insolvency and security enforcements related advice.
Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff Maria worked more than seven years in a major white-shoe American law firm in the banking and finance department on a lead counsel role mandates and on secondment with one of the leading investment banks advising on cross-border brokerage, derivative and general banking matters.
