Mick was based in Loyens & Loeff's New York office in 2018 and 2019.

Mick authored the book 'Dutch Mining Levies', a comprehensive book on specific Dutch taxes applicable to inter alia the oil and gas industry. Mick is furthermore a permanent contributor to FED, a weekly tax case law journal, and to NDFR, an encyclopedic work on Dutch tax legislation. He also regularly publishes in academic literature.
