Shanna is one of the key members of the tax litigation team of Loyens & Loeff. She has more than a decade of experience in dispute resolution, in and outside of court, from tax investigation by the Dutch Tax Authorities to cassation procedures at the Supreme Court. Her years of experience at the Supreme Court and former position as a deputy judge have made her a specialist in the breadth of procedural tax law. She conducts tax proceedings on both local and state taxes (including penalty law) and assists both national and international companies, ranging from individuals (family-owned businesses and sometimes pro bono projects) to multinationals or funds.

Shanna regularly speaks and writes on both tax litigation and indirect tax matters. She is member of and/or contributor for Vakstudie Nieuws and the Legislative Proposal Committee of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
