Tim van Montfort, tax adviser, is a member of the Indirect Tax practice group in our Amsterdam office.
Tim specializes in VAT and real estate transfer tax and is part of the Indirect Tax practice group since September 2013.
Tim advises mainly both national and international real estate investors on the VAT and real estate transfer tax aspects of real estate (portfolio) purchases and sales. Aside from that, he also advises regularly on corporate VAT.
Within Loyens & Loeff, Tim is part of the Real Estate Team.
As from the end of 2021, Tim was seconded and worked as in-house Indirect tax advisor at CBRE Investment Management for a period of 7 months. As from 2024, Tim is seconded to the London office of Loyens&Loeff.
