Xheni Zeneli, attorney at law, is a member of the Energy & Infrastructure practice group in our Brussels office.
Xheni specialises in energy regulation as well as renewable energy projects, such as onshore wind, biomass and solar/PV.
She advises and represents clients in court on matters such as energy storage, subsidy mechanisms, energy sharing, taxation of energy products and various agreements.
As of 2023, Xheni is a a research associate at Ghent University for the ECOFLEX project, which explores smart energy management for E-mobility charging infrastructure and energy communities. The project focuses on using technologies like heat pumps and battery storage to provide flexibility for grid balancing and security of supply, enabling cost-efficient and decentralised grid operation.
